Skidaway Island - Dr. Elaine B. Andrews died peacefully on July 5, 2009 after a long illness. She was married for very close to 55 years to Dr. Victor L. Andrews of Skidaway Island in Savannah. She was born in Lorain, Ohio on September 2, 1930. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her brother, Dr. Edward Bernasek and his family of Winston-Salem, NC. Dr. Elaine Andrews was a graduate of Stanford University and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts-Harvard University.
