Savannah - Doris Paxton Scott, 83, died June 16, 2009 at her residence. Mrs. Scott was retired from Chatham County after a long career as Deputy Chief of the Delinquent Tax Office. She was a longtime member of the Women of the Moose Lodge No. 1550. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend who was known to always be there when someone needed her.
