Lillian Chovin Elkins, who observed her 100th birthday eight months ago, passed away in her sleep Wednesday May 13 at Azalealand Nursing Home in Savannah, Ga. She was predeceased by her husband of almost 50 years, Ward H. Elkins in 1983 and by her son, Jack H. Elkins in 1988. A long-time member of Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church, Mrs. Elkins will always be remembered as having a strong love of family. She was born on August 20, 1908.
