Charles Allen “Red” Davis, 72, passed away Monday, January 18, 2016 at his residence under the care of Heartland Hospice surrounded by his family. He was born in Savannah, son of Wilson A. and Annie Bell Shuman Davis. Mr. Davis was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during the Vietnam War. He lived most of his life in Savannah and was a police officer with the Garden City Police Department for 13 years. He then owned and operated CME Trucking Company in Garden City for 28 years.
