Mr. Gibson was born in New Rochelle, NY to Jean Craig Gibson and John Gibson. Jack served in the US Navy during WWII and worked many years for Zim Container Service, a number of which were in the World Trade Center before transferring to the Savannah office in 1983. Jack led a very active life. He enjoyed sailing, fishing, and even hang gliding. He was a member of the Hobie Cat Fleet of Tybee Island as well as the Forest City Gun Club where he enjoyed skeet shooting.
