Savannah- Jean O'Hayer Schroder, 91, died peacefully on Thursday, July 8, 2010. Affectionately known as "Cuz", she was born in Savannah, March 6, 1919 to William O'Hayer and Isabelle Paul O'Hayer. She was baptized at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist and attended St. Vincent's Academy. She met Charles John Schroder and they married at the Cathedral in 1939. They honeymooned by riding the Greyhound bus to New York City to attend the World's Fair. Charles joined the Navy during World War II and Jean did her part by working on Liberty ships in Savannah.
