Savannah- Lt. Col. Laurence Edward Elliott, USAF Retired, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 12, 2012, the date of his 90th birthday, at the Lowman Home in Chapin, SC. Mr. Elliott was born in Prattville, Alabama, the son of Alfred F. Elliott and Ethel M. Elliott. He served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII as a navigator on B-17 aircraft and later in the Air Force Reserve.
