Roan Hudson "R.H." Cowart, Sr., 76, died Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at his home in Savannah, GA under the care of Odyssey Hospice. Mr. Cowart was born in Emanuel County, GA on August 18, 1935, the son of the late Inman Turner Cowart and Ila Hendrix Boyles. He was a graduate of Commercial High School. Following graduation he began working at Union Camp where he retired as a Maintenance Control Supervisor after nearly 40 years of service. He was a longtime member of Bull Street Baptist Church.
