Savannah- Alice Carr died peacefully Saturday, May 5, after a long illness. She was born on April 27, 1927, to Wiley Anderson Wasden and Katherine Carr Wasden and grew up in Millen, GA. She attended Shorter College and was graduated from Wesleyan College in Macon. Following graduation from college, she moved to Savannah and worked for WTOC Radio, where she hosted a radio program. In 1951 she married Donald K. Jones, and they had five daughters. Following the death of her first husband in 1997, she married James E.
