Dr. Robert J. Harper Jr., 81, a leading member of the scientific community and beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 27, at St. Catherine's Village in Madison, Mississippi. The eldest of ten children, he was born on August 16, 1930, in Savannah, Georgia, and attended Marist and Cathedral Schools and was a 1948 graduate of Benedictine Military School there. Lydia Juanita Ketchum passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Savannah Cottages at the age of 90. She was born in Patterson, Georgia on February 17, 1922 and lived in Savannah since 1942. She attended Brunswick Business College where she earned her Associates Business Degree. During World War II, she worked as a welder in the shipyards doing her part in the war effort.
