Elsie Gnann Deane of Savannah, Georgia died early Thursday morning, December 29, 2011 at the age of 95. She was born in Savannah on December 19, 1916 the daughter of William George Gnann and Pearl Rahn Gnann. Elsie was the last of 11 siblings to pass away and is survived by her son Charles Laurence Deane as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Growing up in Savannah, Georgia she graduated from Pape's School of Savannah. Elsie Deane was the last surviving charter member of the Georgia Salzburg Society.
