Blanton of Savannah. Mrs. Buford was a retired teacher and administrator at St. Andrews on the Marsh, formerly the Independent Presbyterian Church Day School. She was a graduate of Savannah High School and Armstrong Junior College and was a life-long member of the Independent Presbyterian Church.
