She married James Schouten 47 years ago and is survived by her beloved husband and two children, Christopher and Rebekah Schouten. She grew up in Savannah and graduated from Groves High School class of 1962. After living in other states for many years, she returned home to Rincon in 2005 where she worked for Citizens Bank of Effingham.
