He served in WWII in the 187th division and later retired from Norfolk Southern Rail Road after forty-two years. Mr. Lincoln was a very active member and Sunday School teacher at Southside Baptist Church in Savannah and Montgomery Heights Baptist Church in Commerce, GA. He was a Mason and an avid gardener.
