Robert "Bob" Brown, age 81, died Sunday, March 18 at Candler Hospital. Born in Commer, GA, he served as a member of the 86th Black Hawk Division in the U. S. Army and participated in the Ryan, Rural Pocket, and Bavarian Campaigns. He also served in the Philippians and Okinawa. After completing his tour of duty, he married at the age of 22.
