DeLamar Turner, Jr., 81, died October 25, 2008 at Candler Hospital. He was born in Savannah, son of the late DeLamar Turner Sr. and Elizabeth Norton Turner. He was a 1945 graduate of Savannah High School and a Silver Palm Eagle Scout. Mr. Turner served in the United States Army during World War II and graduated in 1950 from the University of Georgia where he was a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity.
