Faye Anderson Sanders Davis, 71, died Tuesday, July 23, 2008 at Hospice Savannah after an extended battle with cancer. She was born in Lyons, Georgia on January 26, 1937 and was graduated from Savannah High School in 1954. Faye was employed by Southern Bell Telephone while her husband served overseas in the Navy, then she settled down to raise her family. After her children were all in school, she worked at the Town Hall of Hardeeville for a while, then began a career with the United States Postal Service. Faye retired from the Postal Service in 1997.
