William Flemmon Flem Winders, 98, retired business executive died June 11, 2009 at home in Reston, Virginia. Mr. Winders was born on Hilton Head Island and attended schools there and in Savannah. For seven years, he worked in Savannah as an accountant for the Cudahy Packing Company and the Atlanta, Birmingham and Coast Railroad. In 1936 he began a 40 year career with Tennessee Eastman Company in Kingsport, Tennessee, a major manufacturer of chemicals and plastics.
