Thomas J. Ennis, 85, of Savannah, passed away on September 15, 2009. He was born on May 3, 1924, in Pooler, Georgia. Mr. Ennis served his country during World War II in the US Navy, as a crewmember of the USS Edward C. Daly, a destroyer escort ship. He was a member of the Destroyer Escort Sailors Association and enjoyed attending many Navy reunions before his health declined.
