James Robert Callahan, 86, died Friday, May 19, 2017 at Memorial University Medical Center. The Atlanta, Georgia native was a longtime resident of Savannah. He was a member of Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church where he served on the Administrative Board, the Men’s Club and the Pastor-Parish Relations Committee. He retired after forty years in sales with the Oscar Mayer Company and later was a volunteer at St. Joseph’s-Candler Hospital for many years.
