Birmingham, Alabama – Frederick O. Palmer, 86, died April 22, 2006 at his residence. He was born in Savannah and was a resident of Birmingham since 1956. Mr. Palmer was a graduate of Benedictine Military School and the University of Georgia. He retired as controller from a subsidiary of St. Regis Paper Company. He was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church and a United States Army Veteran serving during World War II and the Korean Conflict. His wife, Nola Williams Palmer preceded him in death. Savannah – Jeanne Carr Bailly, 85, went home to be with the Lord, April 21, 2006 at Marshview Nursing Home. She was born in Saginaw, Michigan and lived many years in the Michigan area. She retired to Port Orange, Florida where she lived seventeen years prior to moving to Savannah two months ago.
