Jane Gaynell Mowen Neikirk Jane Gaynell Mowen Neikirk, 89, died Thursday, August 23, 2007 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Mrs. Neikirk was born in Hagerstown, Maryland on August 18, 1918 and has lived in Savannah since 1946. She was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church for over sixty years. Mrs. Neikirk served on the church council and founded St. Paul’s Lutheran Day School. She taught Sunday school for twenty-five years and was a member of Circle # 8 W.E.L.C.A.
