George W. Heater, 88, died Monday, December 31, 2007 in Savannah. Mr. Heater was born on February 26, 1919, the son of the late George and Florence Heater. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during World War II in Japan. He was employed by and retired from Hobart Manufacturing where he worked as a Quality Control Engineer for many dedicated years. George was an active Boy Scout Leader, a volunteer at Grace United Methodist Church, a volunteer coach to local recreational sports teams and a volunteer to several schools in the Piqua, OH area.
