Mr. Hayden was born in Mansfield, PA where he attended Mansfield State Teachers College. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and later worked for Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. After retirement in 2001, he moved to Zionville, NC, where he enjoyed reading, cooking and gardening.
