Margaret Macile "Mae" Hudson, 72, died Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at her home in Savannah. Mrs. Hudson was born on December 26, 1935 in Hickory, NC. She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Walls; her mother and step-father, Eunice and Frank Johnson; son, Dwight Scott Hudson and brother, Howard Walls. Mrs. Hudson worked as a seamstress for many years, ultimately becoming the co-owner of Hudson's Upholstery which she helped operate for twelve years before retiring in 1997.
