Douglas Oliver Robbins, Sr., 88, died Sunday, September 27, 2009 at Hospice House. He was a native and lifelong resident of Savannah. Mr. Robbins was a member of Southside Baptist Church and retired in 1983 from Union Camp Corporation after more than 30 years of service. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in World War II. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Myrtle C. Robbins, three brothers and one sister. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Jeanette Robbins, of Savannah, two sons, Douglas O.
