Charles Alfred Aimone, Jr (Chuck), 93 passed away peacefully Thursday afternoon, August 9, 2018, surrounded by family. Chuck was born in Bergen County (Wood-Ridge) N.J. on December 30, 1924. He was the son of the late Bergen County Police Chief Charles A. Aimone, Sr. and the late Margaret Christiano Aimone. He was preceded in death by a daughter Lisa Yvonne Aimone; a brother; Albert; and a sister, Florence Aimone. After graduating from Benedictine Military School in 1942, he served his country during World War II as a radio operator in the Army Air Corps and flew in the first group over Normandy on D-Day.
