Stephen D. Morrison, Sr. (“Grandaddy”), 79, died peacefully at Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center in Augusta on October 10, 2018. Steve was born in Savannah on March 23, 1939, where he lived most of his life. He joined the United States Air Force in 1956, earned his high school diploma, and was honorably discharged in 1961. He started his career at American Cyanamid, working there for seven years before apprenticing as a plumber. A Savannah native, David was a loving and devoted father to his daughters whom he raised as a single parent.
