Thomas McLane Ward, 76, passed away, Sunday, February 3, 2013. He was born in New Orleans, LA, son of the late Thomas Jefferson and Xuripha Middlebrook Ward. Mr. Ward was reared in Freeport and DeFuniak Springs, FL. During high school, he met the love of his life, Beverly Salathe and after graduation, he attended Emory University in Atlanta. They married in 1956 and moved to Tallahassee, FL where he joined IBM, later moving to Albany, GA and moving to Savannah in 1968 where he retired after 25 years of service.
