Richard Eastell Hoover, known affectionately as Hoov, age 74, died in the care of Hospice Savannah on Thursday July 6, 2017. He was born March 8, 1943, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Richard Thomas Hoover and Laura Eastell Hoover.   He lived in Pittsburgh and Johnstown, PA, before retiring with his wife to Savannah in 2001. Hoov graduated from Waynesburg College in 1963 and worked as a Manufacturer’s Representative for over 35 years, carrying over 140 sporting goods lines.
