Mrs. Miles, nee Evalyn Knox Willey, was born July 3, 1921 in Pontotoc, MS, the daughter of Dr. Warner Moore Willey and Mrs. Cornelia Knox Willey. Her family settled in Bowling Green, Kentucky, where Dr. Willey was Professor of Education at Western Kentucky University.
