Lola was born August 19, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY to Captain Bert and Dagmar Erickson, immigrants from Norway and Sweden. Lola was a first generation American. Lola met her future husband, Frank, a WWII Navy Veteran, while working as his father’s secretary for American Machine and Foundry in New York City. Lola and Frank were married in 1947.
