Malcolm G. Hill

Malcolm G. Hill, 100, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018. The native and lifelong resident of Savannah was educated in local schools. She worked as a secretary, including five years for Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church. She was a member of Bull Street Baptist Church, Calvary Baptist Temple and First Baptist Church of Garden City. She was preceded in death by her parents, Malcolm and Ira Garnett, and her brother, Malvin Garnett (Ethel).

Survivors: a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Gene Simpson; a son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Penny Hill; four grandchildren, Dwayne Simpson (Mary), Debbie Nijem (Tommy), P. Benjamin Hill (Prabha), and Paula Eason (Glenn), nine great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., Tuesday at Fox & Weeks, Hodgson Chapel. Funeral Service: 1:30 p.m., Tuesday at Fox & Weeks, Hodgson Chapel. Burial: Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
