James Bryant Rollison, Sr.

Pooler, GA

James Bryant Rollison Sr., “JB”, died peacefully on Wednesday June 2, 2021. 

He was born January 28, 1937 in Ohoopee, Georgia to Martha Thelma Duffield and Troy J Rollison. 

In 1961, he married the former Mary Janice Smith of Blackshear, Georgia. They had one son. 

After serving in the United States Marine Corps and the United States Navy, he was honorably discharged May 1, 1963. He settled in Savannah, Georgia. JB retired as Director of Operations from the Georgia Port Authority after more than 30 years of service. 

In addition to his wife Mary Janice; JB is survived by his son, James Bryant Rollison Jr. of Pooler, GA; as well as a niece, Aimee Rollison Farmer of Fayetteville, GA.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m Monday, June 7, 2021 with visitation an hour earlier at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
