MARGUERITE H. WELLS

Marguerite H. Wells, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away Thursday, June 7, 2007 under the loving care or Azalealand Nursing Home. She was born in Millhaven, Georgia and was a longtime resident of Savannah. She was a longtime member of First Christian Church.

Mrs. Wells was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Matthew H. Wells her parents, John Douglas and Nita Jane Hillis and her sister, Wilma H. Clark.

Surviving are, her daughter and son-in-law, Jane W. & Darrel Loper, her son & daughter-in-law, John M. & Beverly Wells, her sister, Barbara H. McWhorter, five grandchildren, George Loper, Robert Loper, Amanda Randall, Wendy Feis and Christy Armstrong. Also surviving are eleven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, June 8, 2007 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel.

Graveside Services will be Saturday, June 9, 2007 at 11 a.m. in Bonaventure Cemetery with Reverend Everett Tumblin officiating.
