Josephine G. Doyle
Josephine Griffin Doyle, 86 died Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at her residence. She was a native and lifelong resident of Savannah and was a member of St. James Catholic Church. She graduated from St. Vincent’s Academy and the University of Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Anthony Doyle.
She is survived by two sons; Fred A. Doyle, Jr., and his wife Sherri, of Savannah, and J. Griffin Doyle and his wife Cindi, of Athens, three daughters; Marie Hartwell and her husband, Henry, of Closter, N.J., Lacey Waldhour and her husband Woody, of McDonough, GA, Carolan Brawner and her husband Tuck, of Savannah, two brothers; John Griffin, of California, and Frank X. Griffin, of Savannah, one sister, Mrs. Patricia G. Weis, of Savannah, thirteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 21, 2007 with a Rosary service at 6:00 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 22, 2007 at St. James Catholic Church.
Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery.
