Ida Coburn Ryan, 85, died Sunday, November 11, 2007 in Jacksonville, Florida. The native of Hardeeville, South Carolina lived in Savannah most of her life. She was a Navy Nurse during World War II and was retired from the Chatham County Health Department. She attended St. James Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph Francis and Philomina Pinckney Coburn, her first husband, Robert S. Forman and her second husband, Edmund V. Ryan.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law; Robert Edward and Evelyn Forman, of Jacksonville, FL, two grandsons; Michael Arthur Forman and Robert Andrew Forman, one great-grandson; Connor Forman, all of Jacksonville, FL, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 13, 2007 with a Vigil service at 6:00 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at St. James Catholic Church.
Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery.
