JEAN B. MEYER

Jean B. Meyer 82, died Thursday, January 24, 2008 at Azalealand Nursing Home. She was a native and lifelong resident of Savannah. Ms. Meyer was retired from Armstrong Atlantic State University after 25 years as secretary to the head librarian.

Ms. Meyer was preceded in death by her son Steven Meyer.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Buddy Murray of Savannah, her son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Tammy Meyer of Bluffton, S.C.; three grandchildren, Lisa Maguire, Michael Murray and Steven Murray all of Atlanta; three great grandchildren, Virginia Maguire, Henry Maguire, Jay Murray and a cousin, Sandra Thompson of Savannah.

Visitation will be Friday, January 25, 2008 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel.

Graveside Services will be Saturday, January 26, 2008 at 11 a.m. in Bonaventure Cemetery with Reverend Nathan Godley officiating.
