John T. Logan

John T. Logan, born January 28, 1926 passed away Friday, June 13, 2008 at Candler Hospital in Savannah, GA. He suffered from Diabetic related complications.

John Logan was born in Providence, RI and resided in Fairfield, CT as a child. John served in the United States Navy during WWII and then went on to Williams College in Williamstown, MA where he obtained a BA in Economics. While at Williams he met his wife, Tina Hunter Logan. They married in Avon, CT on June 23, 1958. John worked for the Stanley Works in New York City and then New Britain, CT for 33 years retiring as Vice President of Sales & Marketing. John and Tina resided in Farmington, CT for approximately 30 years where they raised their five children, Karen Logan McDonald, John Thomas Logan, Jr., Wright Hunter Logan, Susan Logan Burden, and David Appleton Logan. John is also survived by his grand children, Scott, Hunter and Isabell McDonald, Jack and Alex Logan and Max and Natasha Burden. John and Tina moved to Savannah GA in 1989 to join some of Tina's father's southern family thoroughly enjoying their new location.

Memorial Service: 11:30 AM Friday, June 20, 2008 at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 3 Westridge Rd., Savannah, GA, 31411. Burial will take place in Avon, CT under the direction of Vincent Funeral Home in Simsbury, CT.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Williams College in memory of John T. Logan, 880 Main St, Williamstown, MA 01267.
