VIRGINIA LUTZ
Virginia Lutz 89, died Monday, June 15, 2009 at Tara at Thunderbolt Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Lutz was a native and lifelong resident of Savannah. She was of the Catholic Faith. Mrs. Lutz was a retired seamstress, having worked many years for Gardner's Fabrics and she was an avid Bingo player.
Mrs. Lutz was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Lutz, her son, Gary J. Lutz, her grandson, Gary J. Lutz Jr. and her sister, Florence Folger.
Surviving are her sons, Jacob "Buddy" Lutz and wife Carol of Pooler and Richard C. Lutz Sr. and wife Barbara Ann of Savannah. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and several cousins.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 16, 2009 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel with a Vigil Service at 6:30 p.m.
Graveside Services will be Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
Remembrances to: Hospice Savannah or a Charity of Choice.
