Gaye, My prayers and thoughts are with you. You lost a loving husband, and we lost a great friend. I can not put into words what Billy meant to me and my family. I will always remember him hitching up his pants and saying “come on Taylor we can get nine more in before its time to go to the house”. If heaven is what I believe it is Billy D got 36 holes in today.

Billy was a courageous Christian man who fought his illness with determination and faith. Compassionately and lovingly counseling and encouraging others in their illnesses, he used his illness to be a beacon for the Lord. We all have been enriched by knowing him, and he'll be sadly missed but fondly remembered.
