Richard W. Cota

Richard W. Cota, age 86, died March 23, 2010. The Bristol, VT native moved to savannah in 1976 and worked with Eli Whitt as a salesman. He retired as a Manager with the A&P Stores. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Agnes M. Cota of Savannah; four daughters, Sharolyn Cota and her companion, Norman Langlois of Pompano Beach, FL, Linda Roger Bessette of Rochester, NH, Diane Richard Rodgers of Fort Mill, SC and Lori Ronald Hewett of Oak Ridge, NC; five grandchildren, Dr. Marc Bessette, Suzanne and Nicholas Fortune, Taylor and Sarah-Jo Hewett; and two great-grandchildren, Reece and Corinne Bessette. He is also survived by his sisters, Eva Stewart of Fort Ann, NY and Mary Lou Cornelius Mullaney of Rocky Hill, CT; brother, Russell Cota of Barton, VT and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Visitation: 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Friday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel with burial following at Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
