Kathryn G. White

Savannah - Kathryn G. White, 83, long-time resident of Savannah, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Memorial University Medical Center. Kathryn was born in Gwinnett, Georgia, on August 18, 1926. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Allan W. White, parents, George and Clara Graves and her siblings, Charles Graves and Sara G. Penton.

Survivors include her daughters, Evelyn Jerry McCarthy, Phyllis Alfred Jackson, Gwen Ricky Bennett, a son, William Deanie White, a sister, Linda G. Mundy and eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Kathryn was a devoted member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church for over fifty years. Her hobbies included ceramics, sewing, needlework, crocheting and crafts.

Funeral: 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 29, 2010 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel with the Reverend Steve Meguiar officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Burial: Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
