Bobby Hayward Bland
Bobby Hayward Bland, 72, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2011 at Memorial University Medical Center. Bobby was born May 1, 1939 to the late Cecil L. and Rosalee Hinley Bland. He was retired from Great Dane Trailers after more than 40 years of service. Bobby loved life, his family and God. He was a loving husband, wonderful daddy and granddaddy. Besides his love for his family he enjoyed camping and racing.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Shirley Stovall Bland, of Savannah, daughter and son-in-law, Kay B. and Johnny Holton, of Dublin, two sons, Alan Hayward Bland, and Bobby Aaron Bland, both of Savannah. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Kevin Holton Angela and Bobbie Garner Derek, both of Dublin, four great-grandchildren, Emilie Garner, Maddie Garner, Aiden Holton, and Kailyn Holton, two aunts, Erma Strickland, and Nita Long, both of Savannah, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

Bobby and Shirley were our second set of parents living on hawthorne St.for 40 years then moved next door to them for years. Bobby got me my first job at the dog. As a young teenager I remember that Bobby always the coolest muscel cars that J C lewis had on the lot.He was true Ford man he was one of akind. loved nascar the Braves & the falcons and would do give you the shirt of his back he will me missed by the Denmark fanily. Shirley you know we love you and the boys and will be in our prayers
