I was very sorry to hear about Mr. Haake. He's probably hitting golf balls, and trying to get Rufus to stop chasing them. My heart and prayers go out to you and yours.

Woody was just a great person to work with --He was always so approachable and cheerful to deal with. He was always a perfect gentleman!

I WAS SORRY TO LEARN ABOUT WOODY. ALTHOUGH WE HAVEN'T SEEN EACH OTHER FOR MANY YEARS, WE HAD MANY GOOD TIMES TOGETHER ON THE GOLF COURSE, PLAYING CARDS AND TOGETHER AT THE NORTHERN. MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY, PHIL SWEET
- PHILIP SWEET, , GA
When I first arrived at the Northern Trust as an economist, Woody took me under his wing and showed me how to help others in their decision making. While that sounds easy, Woody did it with an ever-present smile and simple wisdom that lasted. One always looked forward to being with Woody, because he cared for others; all the while open and straight forward with his thoughts. No pretense, no games; he was curious and honest. Characteristics, we should aspire to have!
- Don Raiff, Scottsdale, AZ
