Port Wentworth- Sofie K. Davis, 55, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at her home.
She was born March 14, 1966 in Munich, Germany and moved to Baltimore when she was fourteen. After moving to Savannah, Sofie began working at Zaxby’s where she eventually became Manager and co-owner of many locations. However, she was best known for the Zaxby’s in Port Wentworth. Sofie was kind and enjoyed helping others. During hurricane evacuations, she remained in Savannah and kept Zaxby’s open where she prepared food for the many Law Enforcement and First Responders. Sofie was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.
Surviving are her husband, Jon Davis; parents, Michael & Sofie Kennedy; children, Michael Goode, Tony Goode, Stephanie Mitchell, Alicia Patton; grandchildren, Jennifer Goode, Kaleb Prete, Abbigail Poole, Michael Goode, Jr; sisters, Kathy Wever, Patty White, Michel Roberts, Melissa Machado and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. Burial will be private.
I am so saddened to hear this news. May the God of all comfort strengthen the loved ones during this time. I will be keeping you all in my prayers.
