Ralph M. Boyd

Ralph M. Boyd, 76, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016, in Savannah. He was a native of Colquitt County, GA, and has lived in Savannah for most of his life. He served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves. Mr. Boyd retired in 1999 from Union Camp Corp. as a Project Engineer. One of his projects was the restoration of Kensington Plantation in South Carolina. He was a member of Wilmington Island United Methodist Church where he taught Sunday school.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Gaynell Boyd; his brother, Cary Boyd of Fleming Island, FL; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday,, April 24, 2016, at Wilmington Island United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
