Our families have known each other a long time. We have shared joy and difficult times together. God has been there to fill and comfort our hearts no matter the circumstances. Billy was a dear friend from my Hilton Head and Atlanta days. I would visit and stay with him when he lived in Atlanta and he would have me in tears laughing at the stories of working as a server in what I believe was the "Top of the World" restaurant in Peachtree Tower. He was always a bright spot of sunshine and I treasure my time and memories of him.
