I am sorry for the death of your loved one. Please be assured that God is love, and that He does not want any of us to suffer. He gives us the wonderful promise that He will soon eliminate death forever. (1 John 4:8) (Revelation 21:3&4)

I haven't seen Alfred in over 30 years when I had the pleasure of coaching his sons Alfred and Michael in soccer at Savannah Christian High School. His wife Betty Anne drove a school bus for Savannah Christian. They were a very loving and close knit family who exemplified the values and work ethic of a great American Family. They were a tough, dedicated, hard working Christian family led by Alfred- their loving father. I will not be in Savannah tomorrow to attend services for Alfred, but he and his family will be in my thoughts and prayers. I would love to hear from his sons Alfred and Michael who were two kids I truly enjoyed coaching.God bless your family . I know you will miss Alfred. Ben Farmer

It is so hard to lose a father you have loved so much. It leaves a large hole in your heart that time will only partially heal. As the Lang family struggles through this great loss, we can only point to Jesus where He says, "I am the resurrection and the life...those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die (John 11:25-26)."

I am sorry for your loss. Jehovah is a God of comfort and offers it by means of his word the Bible. Isaiah 25:8 is always encouraging to me, because it reminds me that soon death will be no more. How satisfying that will be for all. May positive memories fill your hearts and minds through this time.
