I worked with Allen at Home Depot a very long time ago. Allen was always so nice, kind and pleasant to everyone he encountered. I saw him again many years later at Bed Bath & Beyond and we spoke and he was doing great and proudly told me about his wife & children. Every single time I saw Allen, he had a smile on his face and the same kind and pleasant personality. My thoughts and condolences are with his family who lost a great man. A candle has been lit!

I miss my guy. Our friendship isn't really that long but I felt like we were lifelong friends. We shared a lot of the same interests sports, music,movies and most importantly our love of Christ. He was my brother in Christ first and that alone gives me comfort in knowing I'll see him again one day. I pray it brings some comfort to his family, we lost one of the good ones but just for now. I had the privilege of meeting Allen at the back door of Chick-fil-A as I was delivering bread. Every delivery we would talk about our love of sports. During football season he couldn't wait to open up the door and talk about the Cincinnati Bengals game. On other days we would talk about the old school Atlanta Braves and our sport cards collections. I will miss our conversations.
