Ann Rusk Conneff
October 02, 1938 - August 13, 2025

Ann Rusk Conneff, 86, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 13, 2025.
A native of Screven County, Ann was the daughter of the late Oren C. Rusk, Sr. and Dorothy Walker Rusk. She graduated from Commercial High School, where she was crowned Miss Commercial High School in 1956.
A devout Catholic, Ann was well-loved and loved deeply in return. Her family was her passion; she was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Ann lovingly prepared three meals a day for her family, and she had an infectious smile that reflected her happy demeanor. She was a devoted communicant at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, Ann is predeceased by her loving husband of 61years, Lawrence S. Conneff; and a daughter, Ann Marie Prescott.
She is survived by her four sons, Lawrence Jr. (Vickie), Matthew (DeDee), Tom (Jennifer), and Stephen; a daughter, Patricia Picciarelli (Mark); a brother, Oren C. Rush, Jr.. Ann was also cherished by her grandchildren, Lawrence, Andrew, and Margaret Conneff; Brandy Snell, Elizabeth Fairbanks, and Caitlin Conneff; Patrick Starling, Katie Fuller, Connor Starling, Amanda Picciarelli, Jessica Hood, and Laura Holman; Lily Kate and Luke Conneff; Sarah and Ryan Conneff; Trey and Allyson Prescott; and Elizabeth Parrish. She also leaves behind 14 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel followed by a rosary service beginning at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 18, 2025 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Abbey East Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ann's grandsons, Patrick Starling, Connor Starling, Lawrence Conneff, Andrew Conneff, Luke Conneff, Ryan Conneff, and Trey Prescott.
My thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn Ann's loss. May you be comforted by your precious memories of her and your knowledge that she is in the company of angels in heaven. I will miss her at Bible study on Sundays. My sincere condolences, Kim Riley.
