Celebrating the life of

Ralph (Trip) Edward Kennickell III

February 01, 1978 - August 02, 2025

Ralph (Trip) Edward Kennickell III

It is with great sadness that we share the sudden passing of Ralph (Trip) Edward Kennickell III on August 2, 2025, at the age of 47.  Trip was born in Savannah, GA on February 1, 1978, to Barbara and the late Ralph Jr.  Trip graduated from the University of Georgia in 2000 and remained a lifelong Bulldogs fan.  His passion for sports was a common thread through his relationships with family and friends.  Trip’s strength of personality was one of his most defining features; he brought a presence into every room he entered.  The loss of Trip, who had so much more life ahead of him, is devasting and heartbreaking for all who knew him.  This loss will forever be felt by his loved ones, who will honor his memory by reflecting on happier moments shared together.

Trip is survived by three wonderful and beautiful children, his mother, Barbara; his stepfather, Frank; and his brother, Jason.  Trip will be laid to rest on Saturday, August 9, 2025, in a private family service.  We deeply appreciate your prayers during this difficult time and kindly request privacy for our family to heal.

We love you, Trip, and will always miss you.

Trip was employee #2 for us there in Savannah when we opened our doors back in 2021. Over the past four years Trip has become integral to our success and has become a dear friend as well. His loss is hard to comprehend today, so as each day passes we will keep him in our prayers. Thoughts and prayers especially to his three children as try to cope with the loss of their dad.

I am shocked and saddened to hear of Trips passing. Although I have not seen him since we were kids, I have thought about him. I am praying that God comforts my aunt, cousin Jason, and Trips children.
