Carol Ann Krieg, 88, of Savannah formerly of Detroit, Michigan, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2025. Mrs. Krieg was born June 4, 1937, in Detroint, Michigan, daughter of the late Marvin and Helen Schmerling, and was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Arthur Krieg. She was a homemaker and loved bowling and dancing.

She is survived by her children, Kathleen Demarais, Robert Krieg, Theresa Clor, Judith Lozen, Kenneth Krieg, Carolyn Jerome, Suzanne Krieg and Sherry Phillips; 24 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; one brother, Jerry Schmerling and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. this Saturday at Fox & Weeks Hodgson Chapel.
